POSITION SUMMARY:

 

To assist the building Administrator by effectively educating students in conformity with the philosophy and policies adopted by the rules of the governing Board, State Board of Education, the provisions of law, directives of the building Administrator and sound administrative practice.

 

The ESL teacher is responsible for providing English instruction to limited English proficient students including curriculum development, evaluation of students' progress, and accurate maintenance of all students' records. Classroom instruction should be interactive and incorporate a variety of teaching techniques, materials and resources.
